First Time Visitor

Welcome!  Are you visiting Zion for the first time?

- Zion Baptist Church is located in a residential area of Washington, DC with on-street parking (near the
corner of 16th Street Northwest on Blagden  Avenue, just one block South of the Carter Barron
Amphitheatre).  You may click here for location and directions to the church.

- We invite you to bring your favorite translation (version) of the Bible to the services. Reading scripture
in preparation for the sermon is a standard part of our worship services.

- The driver for a worshipper in need of assistance at street or door-side should feel free to park
momentarily in front of the Sanctuary and seek assistance from ushers.

- You may click here to see the order of worship as well as view the latest church bulletin.

- Upon entering the Church, you are invited to sign our Guest Register, so that we might have a record of
  your visit.

- Let an usher know if you prefer to be seated in a pew area that accommodates someone who is
  physically challenged.

- As a part of the worship experience, a “welcome” is extended and visitors are invited to stand so that
during our hospitality period, disciples of the congregation will be able to greet you with a “handshake.”

- Do enjoy the services and participate fully in congregational songs that are sung, scriptures that are
read, “Amens” in response to the sermon, and offerings as you desire.

- Our Pastor, Rev. Keith W. Byrd, Sr., will be available to greet all worshippers at the rear of the
sanctuary following the services. Meet our Pastor.

-  We look forward to having you worship with us!!!
