A Blessed Gathering: Zion's Annual Spring Prayer Breakfast Seminar

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Zion Baptist Church’s Prayer Ministry hosted our Annual Spring Prayer Breakfast Seminar at the Zion Main Campus Fellowship Hall. It was a spirit-filled morning of worship, prayer, and fellowship as we came together under the theme, “Gaining the Mind of Christ.”

The morning began with warm fellowship as members and guests gathered to seek God’s presence through united prayer. Our hearts were lifted and challenged by the powerful message delivered by our guest preacher, Rev. A.C. Durant, pastor of Tenth Street Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Rev. Durant’s message reminded us of the importance of aligning our thoughts with Christ, and encouraged us to pursue a deeper relationship with Him.

We give special thanks to Deacons Emeritus Donald and Dorothy Gholston, Deacon Marlena Perrin, and the entire Prayer Ministry for their faithful leadership and hard work in organizing this blessed event. Their dedication created an atmosphere where everyone could grow stronger in their walk with God.

Our time together was a testament to the truth that when we pray together, things happen. We left renewed in spirit, committed to growing in Christ, and strengthened by the bonds of Christian fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this ministry event. We look forward to seeing how God will continue to move in the life of Zion Baptist Church as we gain the mind of Christ.
