Steps to Salvation

Steps to Salvation Through Jesus Christ

1. Acknowledge Sinfulness and Separation from God
We all have sinned and this sin creates a separation between us and God.
Bible Verse: Romans 3:23“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

2. Believe in Jesus Christ
Place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He is the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected to bring us eternal life.
Bible Verse: John 3:16“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

3. Repent of Your Sins
Feel genuine sorrow for your sins, and make a conscious decision to turn away from them and follow God’s ways.
Bible Verse: Acts 3:19“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.”

4. Confess Your Faith in Jesus
Through prayer, confess that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and ask Him to guide your life.
Bible Verse: Romans 10:9“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

5. Receive Grace and the Holy Spirit
As you place your faith in Jesus Christ, you receive the grace of God and the Holy Spirit enters your life, beginning your transformation as a Christian.
Bible Verse: Ephesians 2:8-9“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”

6. Be Baptized
We encourage baptism as an outward declaration of your new faith. Baptism symbolizes the death of your old self and your rebirth in Christ.
Bible Verse: Matthew 28:19“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

7. Live a Christ-Centered Life
Strive to live a life centered on Christ, embodying love, service, and obedience to God.
Bible Verse: Colossians 3:17 – “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

8. Join Our Church Community
Consider joining our church family to help grow in your faith. Engage in worship, Bible study, fellowship, and service with us. If you are afar, engage with our online services and virtual groups.
Bible Verse: Hebrews 10:24-25“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.”

9. Persevere in Faith
Keep your faith strong, trust in God’s promises, and strive to live according to His word even in times of difficulty.
Bible Verse: James 1:12“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”
