It’s Time to Elect Church Officers

It’s election season at Zion Baptist Church! This is your opportunity to take part in shaping the leadership of our congregation by nominating and electing officers who will serve faithfully in the year ahead. Every member’s participation is vital as we prayerfully consider who God is calling to lead.

To guide you through the process, we have prepared three important resources. Please review them carefully before submitting nominations or casting your vote:

How to Participate

1. Review the documents above.
2. Recommend a nominee – The nomination period is open now through November 3, 2025. Nominations may be submitted by form, email, or drop-off at the church office.
3. Vote – Active members may vote in one of three ways:
        – During the Annual Church Meeting
        – By absentee ballot (must be requested by November 10, 2025)
        – By mail-in or drop-off ballot

Important Dates

• Nomination Period: September 28 – November 3, 2025
• Deadline to Request Absentee Ballot: November 10, 2025
• Absentee Ballots Sent Out: Week of November 17, 2025
• Absentee Ballots Postmark Deadline: November 29, 2025
• Annual Church Meeting & Election Day: Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. (Hybrid – virtual and in-person at Zion Main Campus)

Standards of Leadership

At Zion, leadership is a responsibility rooted in faith and service. Each candidate must pledge to uphold the Standards of Christian Leadership, which include integrity, a Christ-centered lifestyle, spiritual growth, stewardship, and servant leadership.
