Women's Ministry

Purpose/Mission: The Zion Baptist Church Women’s Ministry is an intergenerational ministry that serves women of all ages. The Women’s Ministry aims to educate, empower, and encourage women as they nurture their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and live out their faith in every aspect of their lives so they may be strong disciples of Christ and bold witnesses in the world. The Women’s Ministry is devoted to spiritual growth, intercessory prayer, fellowship, and service.

Meetings: The Women2Women’s ministry meets quarterly and have call meetings and fellowship excursions. Notifications of meetings and events are via church announcements.

Ministry Activities: The Women2Women’s Ministry hosts an annual Women’s Day, College Care Package Distribution, and we participate with Toys for Tots. Women2Women’s periodically hosts, spiritual talks, book clubs, and fellowship outings.

Guiding Scripture: “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day approaching.”
