Theme:
When the Praises Go Up, the Blessings Come Down
Scriptures for the Week
(All scriptures are from the New King James Version [NKJV])
Psalm 67:5–6 (NKJV)
Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.
Then the earth shall yield her increase;
God, our own God, shall bless us.
Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
2 Chronicles 20:21–22 (NKJV)
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.”
Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
Acts 16:25–26 (NKJV)
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.
Psalm 34:1–3 (NKJV)
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.

Reflection
Praise is more than a response to blessing—it is a pathway to it. These scriptures remind us that when we lift our voices in gratitude and worship, God moves in powerful and unexpected ways. Whether in the midst of battle, hardship, or daily life, praise invites God’s presence and releases His power. As we continually offer the fruit of our lips, we position ourselves to experience His provision, deliverance, and peace. Let us make praise our posture and trust God to handle the rest.
