Preparing For Zion Baptist Church’s 2024 Grads Day—Sunday, June 2, 2024

Dear Fellow Zion Disciples,

We are delighted to be preparing for our Education Sunday celebration (aka Grads Day) on Sunday, June 2, 2024, where we again recognize our graduates at all levels from preschool through post-Ph.D. programs and award numerous scholarships. If you will be graduating from preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, professional school, a post-doctorate program, ushering school, or any other school or professional program, please complete the Graduate Recognition Form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2024ZBC-GradsForm. Zion will recognize both member and non-member graduates with a certificate.

Graduating high school seniors have an opportunity for multiple scholarships and we encourage them to apply to as many as possible. In addition to the Zion Scholarship that covers four years of study for a total of $8,000 (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2024ZBC-ScholarshipApp), there are three additional scholarships available exclusively for graduating high school students: the Barron H. & Edith Harvey, Ronald & Sandra Mason, and Robert L. Owens III Scholarships. The initial eligibility for each scholarship is summarized below but be sure to read each scholarship criteria carefully to ensure you meet all submission requirements.
